About The Event
South Africa, Johannesburg/Pretoria will see a mix of people marching side by side to protest the destructiveness of coal power, to demonstrate people power, and to call for decent, climate jobs.
On the 24th September, Joburgers will hop onto the newly built Gautrain and travel to the Hatfield station, Pretoria. Here they will gather and march together to a nearby local venue (The Fields Center) with a large postbox filled with letters of climate concern for their leaders.

WEAR GREEN and bring a letter urging our leaders to move beyond fossil fuels
Meet outside the Hatfield Gautrain Station between 10.30 and 11.
We'll take a short walk to The Fields Centre where we will collect your letters, take photos and listen to a few short speeches.
