About The Event
Numi Organic Tea is working with 350.org to help the Bay Area get involved in the BIGGEST CLIMATE CHANGE EVENT EVER!
On September 24th thousands of people will meet in San Francisco bringing powerful demands to our leaders to move beyond fossil fuels. After meeting in a central location to bring the whole Bay Area together, a parade will end in celebrations with music, workshops, art pieces, music food and more.
Before converging on San Francisco we want to invite the Oakland, Alameda, and surrounding communities to the Numi Tea Garden to wake up and gear up for the festivities. Join us starting 10am for complimentary tea and activities focused on biking, hiking, and moving through the Oakland area without fossil fuels. Make signs for the parade, compare bike routes, and complain about the worst roads to ride on! At around 11:30 we'll all head for the Lake Merritt Bart Station and move to San Francisco for the MEGA MASSIVE MOVING PLANET MOBILIZATION event!
