About The Event
Hartford KTC, a Tibetan Buddhist Dharma Center, invites you to join us for an hour of meditation and Chenrezik chant (Bodhisattva of Compassion) in Elizabeth Park, on Saturday, September 24, 2011, at 12:00 noon. This event is open to everyone to share a common concern: compassion for the Earth and all its beings. Hartford KTC joins 350.org with its worldwide day of raising awareness on the issues presented by global climate change for future generations, and the urgency and need for responding in a proactive way. All those who wish to respond to this unprecedented crisis are encouraged to attend. There are grassroots events planned all over the world in nearly every country on September 24.
