Join your neighbors from Hardwick, Walden, Cabot, Greensboro, East Hardwick, Woodbury, Wolcott and other points south

For an Inspiring Day on the Statehouse Lawn In Montpelier

You’ll be a joining with others in 168 countries and thousands of events around the planet – All demanding solutions to the Climate Crisis 

 We’re making a statement about public transportation and reducing fossil fuel use in Vermont by renting buses to travel from Hazen Union School in Hardwick to Montpelier.  Buses will stop to pick up others along the way at the Woodbury Village Store, East Calais General Store, and Goddard College.


1:00 pm      Leave Hazen Union School
1:15 pm      Leave Woodbury Village Store
1:20 pm      Leave East Calais General Store
1:30 pm      Leave Goddard College
2:00 pm      Arrive Montpelier – VT Statehouse Lawn
6:00 pm      Leave Montpelier
7:00 pm      Return to Hazen Union School

Requested donation: $5 per person.  Children are free.  No one will be turned away for lack of funds.  (Compare $5 to the estimated average cost of $20 to drive your own car.)

RSVP: Please reply to this email message to reserve a place on the buses (and let us know how many spots you need.)

If you have a high mileage vehicle that can hold 4 or more passengers please bring it along in case we have more people than the buses can handle.
